Our proposals

No democracy is complete without women

Led by a former Minister for Women, the Family and Children, the URD makes equality and the protection of families a priority.

What we see

Women keep the country going, but have too little say

Traders, farmers, teachers, entrepreneurs: women carry an essential share of economic and social life. Yet they remain under-represented where decisions are made.

For the URD, equality is not a slogan: it is measured in institutions, in budgets and in the effective protection of the most vulnerable.
